Sneak peak of new Hearthstone cards – The Boomsday Project
Following Blizzard’s announcement of the new Hearthstone expansion, The Boomsday Project, they have finally given viewers a few sneak peak of cards to come in the coming expansion. This follows their first ever double pre-order option, with two bundles available for purchase.
New cards The Boomday Project cards
Menacing Nimbus – 2 mana, 2-2 – Battle cry, add a random elemental to your hand.
This will be a very strong shaman card that may be used in both early and late decks.
Wargear – 5 mana, 5-5 – Magnetic
Annoy o Module – 4 mana, 2-4 – Magnetic, Divine Shield, Taunt.
Mid game rush type mech decks will be extremely strong with this card
Whizbang the Wonderful – 4 mana, 4-5 – You start the game with one of Whizbang’s Wonderful Decks.
Good 4 mana value card plus a bonus effect
Mulchmuncher – 10 mana, 8-8 – Rush. Costs (1) less for each friendly Treant that died this game.
Autodefence Matrix – 1 mana – Secret: When one of your minions is attacked, give it Divine Shield.
Will be quite strong in the early game, especially when the opponent only has one minion out
Omega Medic – 3 mana, 3-4 – Battlecry, if you have 10 Mana Crystals, restore 10 Health to your Hero.
Strong card which will allow late game decks to survive
Astromancer – 7 mana, 5-5 – Battlecry, summon a random minion with a cost equal to the number of cards in your hand.
Celestial Emissary – 2 mana, 2-1 – Battlecry, your next spell this turn has Spell Damage +2.
Cloning Device, 2 mana – Discover a copy of a minion in your opponent’s deck.
Giggling Inventor – Battle cry, summon two 1-2 Mechs with Taunt and Divine Shield.
Extremely annoying card that will certainly add strength to late game decks.
Zerek’s Cloning Gallery, 9 mana – Summon a 1-1 copy of each minion in your deck.
Blightnozzle Crawler – 4 mana, 2-4 – Deathrattle, summon a 1-1 Ooze with Poisonous and Rush.
Star Aligner – 7 mana, 7-7 – Battlecry, if you control 3 minions with 7 Health, deal 7 damage to all enemies.
While it is unlikely the battlecry will ever go off, and even if it does, it is fairly unnecessary considering an established board with 3 minion over 7 health almost always equal a win.
Cybertech Chip – 2 mana – Give you minions “Deathrattle, add a random mech to your hand”
While the card adds value, it slows down the players turn a great deal, especially in the early game. May be viable in arena.
