October is the best time of year for anyone who loves the horror genre. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait all year to play them. While we could go into the topic of horror almost endlessly, here, we are going to focus on the best Roblox horror games.
It is no secret that Roblox has hundreds, if not thousands, of different games. What was once considered a Minecraft clone is now one of the most popular engines in the world, and people make all kinds of mods or games through Roblox on something that feels like a daily basis.

Because of that, we have to set some guidelines, something that will qualify games to be considered the best of the best. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to make a list of top games. With that in mind, horror games have to be good, they have to include horror elements, and, of course, they have to be good.

Everyone has a different thing that they are afraid of, but if they tend to have a dark atmosphere and jump scares. If they’re scary enough for the general player base, they’re scary enough for this list!

One such game is Dead Silence, a game that is based on one of the most popular horror movies released in 2007, James Wan’s Dead Silence.
While it is possible to play this game alone, playing it with friends is more fun. The goal of the game is to complete an investigation, and while you are looking for the ventriloquist Mary Shaw, her dolls make an appearance.
At first, we were not considering this title as one of the best scary games on Roblox, but after giving it a try ourselves, it was really hard not to include it on the list. Even if A Wolf Or Other is a spin on the classic murder-mystery genre where some players are killers while others are civilians, there is just this incredible sense of dread when playing this game, especially if you are a civilian.
While it might not be one of the best horror games of all time, it is still easily one of the top horror games on Roblox.
If there is a type of horror game that is always fun to play, especially with friends, it is one where you are in an environment that you have to struggle to get out of, something that feels like, that’s right, The Maze (we could not resist this pun, we are sorry).
Claustrophobia is something that a lot of horror games prey on, and The Maze does a fantastic job at it. You’ll find yourself in underground tunnels with a flashlight that will run out of batteries, and as you are trying to find your way out, you’ll be chased by horrifying creatures.
When it comes to horror storytelling, there is little that can compare to Japanese horror. If you are looking for something that is both scary and provides an interesting story that will keep you immersed, Geisha is certainly one of those best Roblox horror games that you absolutely cannot skip out on.
There is no doubt that one of the most interesting concepts for fear is something that you rarely see in horror games. While some might have read the title of this game as arachnophobia or have just associated it with a fear of spiders, it is actually a fear of the infinite.
