After a grueling month, competitive CS:GO is finally back! We’re taking a look at the most interesting teams to look out for when the competition kicks off tomorrow.

NA’s greatest team, Liquid, embark on their European journey in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, after replacing nitr0 and EliGE with Patsi and Rainwaker.

It represents a massive gamble for the team, and it might not immediately pay off. Keep one eye on their form to see how the new roster is shaping up in the early days.

Astralis Try Again

Once again, a new Astralis roster gets the chance to live up to what came before. They made the choice to drop Altekz and legendary IGL gla1ve over the summer, bringing in long-time target Staehr and surprise addition b0RUP.

With blameF now IGL, the team are under pressure to deliver results. A historic organization like Astralis deserves better than mediocrity, yet that’s what they’ve delivered over the last few years. The BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 is the perfect opportunity to kick off the rest of the year in style. If dev1ce carries his pre-break form into the fall, we’d back their chances.

It won’t be easy. Their place in a group with NAVI, Heroic, and BIG makes the prospect of challenging much harder. However, if they’re going to be the best, then they’ll have to beat the best.

New-Look NAVI

We’re looking at a brand-new NAVI CS:GO roster here. After benching Perfecto, electroNic, and npl, the team now finds themselves with their first-ever international roster.

We expect there to be some serious growing pains here. It’s well known that b1t barely speaks English, and s1mple hasn’t played on an international team since 2016. If they click on the server early, then NAVI can be a force once again.

There’s a lot of curiosity about each new player on the NAVI roster. Both iM and jL were stars of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, but it remains to be seen whether that was a flash in the pan. Meanwhile, Aleksib has failed to implement his playstyle as IGL of G2 and NIP. Now he finds himself with his biggest challenge yet as NAVI IGl.
