On October 25, 2023, the Italian EA FC esports league eSerieA TIM officially announced the start of the new season. For the second year running, Juventus and its venue, Allianz Stadium, were the inaugural host of the eSerieA | Road Show, a series of offline events that will take place around Italy, giving the chances to EA FC pros to put on a show and face players from some of the best Italian football clubs.

On this occasion, Danipitbull and his coach Daniel “Dagnolf” Tealdi teamed up with Andrea Cambiaso and Samuel Iling-Junior in a 2v2 showmatch, with the Danipitbull-Cambiaso pair prevailing 5-2. The two Juventus football players also went head-to-head in a single match, with Iling-Junior beating Cambiaso 3-1.

There weren’t only internal battles, though. Danipitbull and Dagnolf also went up against two other EA FC pros: Francesco “Virgil” Allocca, a pro player from Fiorentina, and Francesco “Kekkova” Valle from Cagliari. The match was extremely close, as it went all the way to the penalty shootout.

Danipitbull – achieving last year’s result will be challenging

As the reigning champion, Danipitbull will face a lot of pressure, especially considering he represents a prestigious club like Juventus: “I think achieving an extraordinary result like last year is really challenging,” he said. “But we will give it our all to succeed. The journey will be long, so it’s essential to take it one game at a time, without pressure.”

There will still be some time before the league starts, but Danipitbull is delighted about this journey:

“The team is excited, and we can’t wait to start. It’s an honor for me to represent this glorious club, and it was thrilling to find the trophy we won last year in the new Trophy Temple at the Juventus Museum, among the countless cups won by the Bianconeri teams.”

When asked about who he thinks is going to be the favorite for the eSerieA, Danipitbull didn’t really reveal anyone in particular: “It’s hard to say because the rosters aren’t complete yet, but regardless of which pro players will participate, the level is going to be very high. It’s going to be a great season.”

Coach Dagnolf shared similar thoughts as he explained their intention for the season:

“We need to think step by step. Of course, we want to be able to imitate our last season, but we need to set intermediate milestones. First, we need to aim for a position among the top four to try to secure a spot in the top two for qualification for the World Championship. If these conditions are met, then the goal is to go all the way to the end. We represent a club like Juventus, and it’s natural wanting to win as many trophies as possible.
