The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Pro Series (BMPS) 2024 Grand Finals are all set to happen from Sept. 27 to 29 at the Adlux International Convention Center in Kochi, India. The top 16 teams of the country are set to compete for glory and the lion’s share of the Rs. 20,000,000 (about $240,000) prize pool.
The BMPS is one of two main esports tournaments by Krafton for BGMI in India. The other one is the BGMI India Series, which features open-for-all qualifiers. The difference between them is that the BMPS only features top-invited teams. This time, 128 teams were invited to the league stage, and after several rounds, only the top 16 remain.

The 16 teams will compete across 18 matches to determine the winners. Therefore, six games will take place per day. The BGMI points distribution is as follows:

The BMPS 2024 has been divided into three stages: League Stage, which consists of four rounds, the semi-final and the grand finals of the tournament. Here are all the details of the three stages.
League Stage: Aug. 20 to Sept. 18
Semi-Finals: Sept. 15 to 18
The 24 teams will play in the semi-finals of the tournament. These teams will be divided into three groups of eight teams. This round will be a double round-robin and just 16 teams will move to the finals of the tournament.
Grand Finals: Sept. 27 to 29
In the grand finals, set to happen as a LAN in Kochi, India, 16 teams will play 18 matches, and the winner of the tournament will walk away with the lion’s share of the Rs 2 crore prize pool.
The tournament match schedule and the teams playing in it have yet to be announced. When they are, we will be sure to update the page with all the information. Interestingly, the audience will get to see all-girls teams, as well. Top teams from Trident Esports scrims and the Upthrust Esports tournament have received an invite. The 2022 iteration of the BMPS was won by Team Soul, which then consisted of Omega, Akshat, Hector and Goblin. The team was playing their first tournament together and showed that they had a lot of synergy.
The BMPS 2023, on the other hand, was won by Blind Esports. That lineup consisted of Nakul, Manya, Joker, Rony and Spower. Interestingly, that Blind Esports’ lineup is now in iQOO Soul, which won the recently concluded BGMI Masters Series.
