Sam McKenzie is a Counter-Strike esports writer who is new to the esports.net team. Focussing primarily on Counter-Strike 2, Sam also enjoys other FPS titles such as VALORANT and Call of Duty, and brings engaging, humorous, and analytical content to each game. Outside of writing, Sam lives in the middle of the UK and has a deep passion for film and TV, as well as Football Manager and a newfound love for sim racing, which, to his dismay, is an incredibly expensive hobby to get into. Although you will typically see Sam's hot takes touching on the world of CS, he may also tackle those previously mentioned games from time to time, bringing the same degree of heat to each one. His experience and love for competition have made him an active and key voice within the esports scene.
