Rocket League EMEA Predator League Format

The competition will take place across three stages, beginning with the national qualifiers and will end on November 20 with the international EMEA Final. Across these three months, three-member teams from the EMEA region can compete to become regional champions of the high-powered arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem game Rocket League.

The structure of the tournament is quite straightforward.

  • First stage sees teams competing in the National Qualifiers, each country having to pass through two qualification rounds. The top two from each round will then advance to the National Finals.
  • Winner of the finals will have the chance to compete in the EMEA International Final against champions from other countries.  The Middle East National Finals are scheduled for November 12th, while the UK nationals take place a day later on November 13th.

You can catch the grand final a week later on November 20th on the PredatorGaming channel of Twitch TV. All other information pertaining to teams, schedules and streams can be found on the Predator League’s official website.

Regions allowed to compete in Predator League

There will be a total of three regions competing in the EMEA. The countries eligible to participate in the European qualifiers are the Benelux region, comprising Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg; DACH made up by Germany, Austria, Switzerland; and the Nordics, which include Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden. France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, and the United Kingdom make up the other European nations.

From the Middle East, teams from the following nations will be eligible to compete: Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Saudi Arabia. Teams from the South African region will also be open to qualification. Two of the three players that make up a team are required to be citizens of the respective country.

Prizes and rewards

The winners of the national playoffs will win EUR 2.500 and a 3X Predator Helios 300, while the runners-up gets EUR1500 and a 3X headset, mouse, mousepad and backpack. The top three at the EMEA Predator League playoffs will win 8.5k, 4.5k and 2k euros respectively.

In addition to the grand prize, the Predator League will also offer exclusive promotions from 15 local retail partners. Teams can also expect community giveaways such as raffles, as well as the frenetic esports entertainment and more prizes. The sole partner of the Acer for the EMEA predator league will be UK retailer, Currys PC World.
