Unfortunately for some, the best bow in AC Valhalla is quite hard to come by, as any ‘good weapons’ in the game require a fair amount of effort to unlock them. So, what is the best bow in AC Valhalla, and how do you get it?
For many players, the best bow in AC Valhalla is Petra’s Arc, which is a Superior Predator Bow in the Wolf class. In its base state, it’s the most powerful bow in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but there’s an added bonus that makes the bow even stronger if the player can remain at full health. It can be unlocked by completing four Legendary Hunt side missions, which is no small feat by any means.
This is the best Predator Bow in AC Valhalla, but what about all the other bows?
If you thought it was tough to unlock Petra’s Arc, you’ll baulk at the thought of unlocking Noden’s Arc. This weapon is truly a one-of-a-kind bow, and despite it not being quite as good as Petra’s Arc, it’s worth acquiring as it dominates the Hunter category. It can be unlocked towards the end of the base game by first obtaining Excalibur (yes, that mythical sword) and then heading to Northern Eurvicscire.

There aren’t many Light Bows in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that can be classed as highly effective, but the Viper Bow is certainly a contender. To unlock the Viper Bow, players must part ways with 500 silver coins at the merchant that occupies Tamworth Fortress later in the game – which admittedly makes it quite easy to acquire. It isn’t the base elements of the Viper Bow that make it so powerful, but the perk.
With this Raven-aligned bow, players get a special perk that boosts the critical chance for each successful hit landed on an enemy, stackable ten times over. If you’re an accurate archer, it can turn the Viper Bow from something average into something devastating.

Before we go, we have to mention the Vampire Bite Bow in AC Valhalla. This one-of-a-kind weapon is special because of its origins – it wasn’t something that existed until it was forced into the game, effectively. As the story goes, Layla Hassan, the modern-day assassin in Valhalla, modified the animus and coded in the Vampire Bite Bow. However, players can only obtain this strange-looking weapon by purchasing the Vampire Weapon Pack from the Ubisoft Store.
