CoD Mobile Season 6 Update: New mode, weapon, map & more

Activision has released the highly anticipated season 6 update into CoD Mobile – and it has come with a ton of new content for players. This includes a new weapon, map, two modes, and much more. Season 6 is called Synthwave Showdown. It will have a funky ’90s party vibe, with the new skins being in line with the theme.

CoD Mobile Season 6 update brings new map from Cold War

We will kick off things with the latest map in the game – Collateral Strike. Black Ops Cold War players will be familiar with it as it’s similar to the Collateral map in the game. However, the strike version is smaller – but still comparatively big compared to other maps.

The Collateral Strike map in CoD Mobile Season 6 will be available to play from June 6 to 18 only.

New weapon and BR class

Every season, Activision adds two new items to the Free Battle Pass for players to grind and get them. Season 6 is no exception and it has introduced a new weapon along with a BR class.

New BR class: Revive

Players can unlock this by grinding to tier 14 in the CoD Mobile Season 6 BP.
It’s a very interesting class as when it’s used, a drone is deployed which can revive nearby teammates. Additionally, it deploys smoke in the process to block enemies’ vision.
Be careful, though, as it can reveal the location of your knocked-down teammates and can also be destroyed.

New weapon: BP50

The BP50 can be unlocked at tier 21 of the Battle Pass.
The weapon could be called as one of the best Assault Rifles in CoD Mobile.
It has a very high fire rate and its long range makes it a good weapon to have on medium-sized and large maps.

Two new modes to drop in CoD Mobile Season 6

Ground War: Advanced Frontline

While the Ground War isn’t a new mode in the game, this version of it has an interesting twist. After you pick up a few kills, you will receive an ability to increase your power. These include higher explosive damage or ammo reloading speed.

1v1 Quick Solo Room

Since the launch of the game, players have been wondering how to 1v1 in CoD Mobile. With the CoD Mobile Season 6 update, it has finally become a part of the game and you can play in a 1v1 duel.
