Call of Duty players are going nuts for the JAK Patriot conversation kit, which is the latest Aftermarket Part to hit Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. It’s the most recent bonus to pop up in Season 3 Reloaded, which was released at the start of the month, and it turns the M16 into a full-auto powerhouse of a weapon. Earlier this month, the M16 received a recoil buff that dropped the blowback of the weapon by around 20%, which means that making it full auto isn’t a problem. So, this is how to unlock the JAK Patriot conversion kit in MW3.

Fans have been receptive to the idea of Aftermarket Parts since they were introduced for the launch of Modern Warfare 3 (2023). With these exclusive upgrades, otherwise known as ‘Conversion Kits, players can take a regular weapon and turn it into something completely different. Not only does the JAK Patriot alter the appearance of the M16, it also gives the weapon a full-auto buff, which is a huge advantage that boosts the TTK of the weapon considerably.

How to Unlock JAK Patriot Conversion Kit

It couldn’t be easier to unlock the JAK Patriot in MW3 or Warzone. To get your hands on this exclusive upgrade, you’ll need to complete any five weekly challenges during Season 3 Week 7. There isn’t anything ‘new’ about this unlock path, and as always, the challenges can be completed on any portion of the current Call of Duty offering: Zombies, Warzone, or multiplayer. Once you’ve ticked off these challenges, you’ll just need to equip the JAK Patriot on your M16 – and that’s it!

This is a limited-time offer, like many Aftermarket Parts challenges, but there are plenty of opportunities to secure the Conversion Kit.

Here are some of the easier challenges you’ll be able to complete to unlock the JAK Patriot kit:

Get 30 Operator Kills with a recommended weapon set to burst fire mode (MP)
Perform 3 Finishing Moves on enemy operators (MP)
Get 8 Operator Kills after reloading with recommended assault rifles (MP)
Complete 25 Contracts (Zombies)
Get 10 Zombie Kills without taking damage 20 times with a recommended weapon (Zombies)
In Warzone, place in the top 10 three times (WZ)
In Warzone, revive a teammate 5 times (WZ)
In Warzone, open 30 loot caches (WZ)

Arguably, the easiest way to unlock the JAK Patriot kit is to run through a few games of Warzone. There are some challenges there that you can even boost a little to get the JAK Patriot as quickly as possible. It’s worth highlighting that this isn’t a competitive weapon, so it won’t ever be a gun in the Call of Duty League, but it’s solid enough for some multiplayer-based action.
