What Do Call of Duty Pros Earn? CDL 2026 Player Salaries Reportedly Leaked

The salaries of esports pros have always been somewhat kept under wraps. While we might hear of certain players’ incomes, it’s very rare. However, a full list of Call of Duty League (CDL) player salaries has leaked for Black Ops 7, and some have suggested that it appears to be very accurate.

The Call of Duty League has undergone huge changes in recent years, and one of those has been the significant inflation (and deflation) of player salaries.

While the franchised league launched with all starting players on at least $150,000, that number has fluctuated significantly over the six years since, and this list – if accurate – proves that.

Are The Leaks Accurate?

The accuracy of the leaks has been contested since the sheet went public.

Initially, Vancouver Surge player Kaci “Lqgend” Sabri and former Surge coach Ray “Rambo” Lussier said that they looked accurate in a stream with Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto.

This led people to believe that perhaps the list is factual, picked up from an internal database, or simply compiled by someone very close to the inner workings of the scene.

However, Esports.net has consulted with a number of sources across the league who were less impressed with the veracity of the leak. Several players and coaches assured us that their numbers, as well as those of several other teams, appeared to be “completely wrong.”

One source said, “You can tell it’s almost guesswork based on one player’s salary and then worked around that.”

Boston Breach’s Evan “Purj” Perez and Toronto KOI star Joe “JoeDeceives” Romero both publicly questioned the accuracy of their individual salaries.

This suggests that while the Surge figures may have been accurate, and perhaps others were close to the mark, there are inconsistencies among the rest.

One real standout is that of McArthur “Cellium” Jovel, at $850,000 on Riyadh Falcons, almost double that of teammate Amer “Pred” Zulbeari, which would make him the joint-highest-paid player if not for Cell.

Generally, most teams would likely try to keep players’ salaries fairly consistent across the four of them, so as not to rock the boat too much, so this immediately raises suspicion.

No doubt, more people will address this leak over the coming days, as it has taken the community by storm. However, for now, we advise taking their claims with a grain of salt.
