Best USP skins in CS2, ranked

In collaboration with

If you’re a CS2 player, you’re probably using the USP-S on the CT-side. After all, the P2000 just isn’t a great option. This means that you could be in the market for a new Counter-Strike USP skin. If that sounds like you, we’ve put together a full ranking of all the USP-S CS2 skins, so you know which ones are worth picking up from a Counter-Strike marketplace or not.

S Tier CS2 USP skins

Counter-Strike USP

The S-Tier options are the best of the best Counter-Strike USP skins. These are arguably the most visually interesting USP-S designs in CS2, even if they come at a steep financial cost. We’re not considering price in this tier list ranking, though. If you’re asking the question, “What is the most expensive USP skin in CS2?” the answer probably lies in this section. Don’t be afraid to break the bank for these ones – there’s a reason they’re ranked at the top of the list.

  • Jawbreaker
  • Monster Mashup
  • Orion
  • Printstream
  • Royal Guard
  • The Traitor

Out of these best USP skins in CS2, my favorite overall is the brand-new Royal Guard. It’s the definition of simplicity, with contrasting blue and gold colors to make it stand out from the crowd. I reckon you should still be a popular figure on the server if you show up with any of these CS2 USP skins.

A Tier CS2 USP skins

Counter-Strike USP

If you’re in the market for a new Counter-Strike USP skin, you can’t really go wrong with any of these A-Tier options. There’s only a slim margin between these and the S-Tier USP CS2 skins, and many of these come in much cheaper, too. While not every option in the A-tier CS2 USP skins is a true bargain, you’re safe knowing that you’re still getting some banger skins whenever you pick up one of these.

  • Bleeding Edge
  • Cortex
  • Cyrex
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Neo-Noir
  • Stainless
  • Target Acquired
  • Torque
  • Whiteout

Personally, my favorite here is USP-S Cortex. It might not be a skin that has a lot of texture, but of all the best USP skins in CS2, it has one of the most unique designs of all. Don’t skip out on these A-Tier USP skins.

B Tier CS2 USP skins

Counter-Strike USP

While these B-Tier Counter-Strike 2 USP skins wouldn’t be our first choices, we don’t think they’re bad options, either. Many of these come in at an extremely low price, making them perfect for a first-ever USP skin, for example. Remember, we’re basing these rankings on aesthetics alone, so that means they’re super subjective. Before deciding on a new CS2 USP-S skin, make sure to take a look through these options first.

  • 027
  • Ancient Visions
  • Black Lotus
  • Blood Tiger
  • Business Class
  • Caiman
  • Desert Tactical
  • Flashback
  • Lead Conduit
  • PC-GRN
  • Road Rash
  • Royal Blue
  • Serum
  • Ticket to Hell
  • Tropical Breeze

Perhaps the most interesting choice from the B-Tier is the USP-S 027. This is a relatively new addition to the best USP skins in CS2, having been added to the game as part of the Gallery Collection. It’s not completely dissimilar from the default USP, with a few unique touches to add to the design. If I’m only picking one from this section, it’s the 027.

C Tier CS2 USP skins

Counter-Strike USP

Last (and kind of least), we’ve got the C-Tier Counter-Strike USP skins. Personally, I’d avoid these options, but again, it’s all subjective. For my money, these are the messiest, or just plain most boring CS2 USP-S skins. Unless you’re really desperate to fill out your loadout with a proper budget USP-S skin, then you can look elsewhere. After all, the best USP skins in CS2 can all be found above.

  • Alpine Camo
  • Blueprint
  • Check Engine
  • Dark Water
  • Default
  • Forest Leaves
  • Guardian
  • Night Ops
  • Orange Anolis
  • Overgrowth
  • Para Green
  • Pathfinder
  • Purple DDPAT

If you must choose one of the C-Tier USP skins, perhaps go with the USP-S Guardian. This skin has been around for years now, so it’s a classic, even if it’s a little on the dull side.
