CS2 Knife Commands: Test Any Knife in the Game

In CS2, having a knife shows that you’re a serious player of the game. However, owning one also means that you need to lay down hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Without knowing what it’s actually going to look like, this can be quite a big outlay. We’ve got the solution right here. Using these CS2 knife commands, you can test any knife in the game before using it.

CS2 Knife Commands – The Full List

CS2 knife commands

First things first – you can only use the CS2 knife commands in an offline server, so you can’t use these in online matches. Head into a practice match and enter the following two CS2 commands:

sv_cheats true
mp_drop_knife_enable true

Then, make sure you’re on T-side. We noticed some bugs with the next command on CT-side, so this is just to be safe. Once you’re on T-side, drop your current knife. This will work thanks to the command you entered earlier. Now, you just need to enter one of the main CS2 knife commands, which will spawn the corresponding knife on the floor beside you. These CS2 knife commands are as follows:

Kukri Knife: subclass_create 526
Butterfly Knife: subclass_create 515
Karambit: subclass_create 507
M9 Bayonet: subclass_create 508
Skeleton Knife: subclass_create 525
Nomad Knife: subclass_create 521
Bayonet: subclass_create 500
Talon Knife: subclass_create 523
Classic Knife: subclass_create 503
Stiletto Knife: subclass_create 522
Flip Knife: subclass_create 505
Ursus Knife: subclass_create 519
Paracord Knife: subclass_create 517
Survival Knife: subclass_create 518

It’s as simple as that. You’ll be able to pick up the CS2 knife from the floor and give it a try before purchasing. Remember one thing: these are the default versions of every knife. There’s currently no way to try out a different CS2 knife skin other than the default using commands – you must go to an inspect server to do that.
