electroNic and s1mple’s BC.Game Reunion Ends in Disaster With BIG Loss & LAN Miss

At the online European qualifier for the Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 LAN finals, the BC.Game Esports debut of legendary Russian rifler, Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, fell short of expectations.

On October 19, BC.Game announced the reunion of the CS Major Championship-winning duo of GOAT, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, and electroNic. A couple of days later, the team was focused on making it to their first LAN event, Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025, scheduled to take place in India from November 7 to 9.

Despite the hype of s1mple and electroNic linking up on the server, things didn’t go as planned for the squad.

BIG Smashes BC.Game Just Before The Finish Line

Unfortunately for fans of the deadly duo, BC.Game was unable to secure a spot at what would be their first LAN appearance. During the Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 European qualifier, BC.Game impressed in their opening game, beating QUAZAR with a convincing 13-6 score on Mirage.

In the quarterfinals, they managed to make it past NOVAQ in a narrow 2-1 win (16-13 on Inferno, 16-19 on Mirage, and 13-11 on Dust2), with two of the three maps requiring overtime to settle.

In the semifinals against the German side BIG, a top-two finish — and therefore a spot at the Championship event — hung in the balance.

On BIG’s map pick, Overpass, BC.Game drew first blood on the CT side. However, BIG instantly responded with seven T rounds in a row. BC.Game couldn’t mount a comeback, as BIG kept their lead for a decisive 13-4 win.

BIG got on the board first on Mirage, but BC.Game bounced back quickly to take a 2-1 lead. That’s when disaster struck, as BIG won nine CT rounds in a row for a gigantic 10-2 lead. While BC.Game attempted to make a comeback with three CT rounds in a row in the second half, BIG stabilized to win the map 13-5, and thereby, the series in a clean 2-0 sweep.

At the end of the match, electroNic had the second-highest rating on the BC.Game side, at 0.82 with a K-D of 18-28. At the top of the leaderboard for BIG was Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin, with a monster performance, earning himself a 1.66 rating and a K-D of 38-14.

With a spot at the Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025 secured, BIG will compete against the winner of Mousquetaires and MOLO to determine the #1 seed from Europe at the LAN. BC.Game, on the other hand, might need more time for the roster changes to settle.

BC.Game will next compete in the playoffs stage of CCT Season 3 European Series #9 (October 21 to November 2, 2025), as well as the ESL Challenger League Season 50: Europe Regional Final (November 18 to 20).

In the latter tournament, they’ll compete against three other teams for a spot at ESL Pro League Season 23.
