Falcons win first-ever Counter-Strike trophy in PGL Bucharest 2025 Final stomp

After putting together roster upon roster, Falcons finally have their first-ever Counter-Strike trophy. It could be a sign of things to come for the Saudi Arabian organization, as they stomped G2 in the Final of PGL Bucharest 2025. Even a 3:0 sweeping scoreline doesn’t quite do justice to how one-sided of an affair this was, with Falcons surely surprised at how easy their first trophy eventually came in Romania.

Mirage, Nuke, and Ancient were the stages as Falcons romped home in this Final against G2. What was expected to be a competitive series to round out PGL Bucharest 2025 ended extremely quickly, with Falcons utterly demolishing G2 across the board. G2 were simply left with no answers from start to finish, in what was comfortably the best Falcons performance we’ve seen to date.
There’s a bitter irony to the fact that both TeSeS and degster were among Falcons’ top performers to help them take home this trophy. It’s no secret that plans are in motion to replace the pair with m0NESY and kyousuke, with Falcons looking to take the next step to send this roster to superstardom. Yet, it’s TeSeS and degster that Falcons have to thank for their first trophy in Counter-Strike, their names forever etched in the organization’s history. They had G2 absolutely rocked throughout the Final of PGL Bucharest 2025, a worthy audition for any team looking to pick up either of these two players.
FaZe ease past Complexity to secure third place

Well it won’t matter as much as the Grand Final result, but FaZe vs. Complexity in the third-placed decider still delivered plenty of good moments that showed it’s still the superior format (as opposed to a showmatch). Was it a classic in the vein of Astralis vs. FaZe in the equivalent match of PGL Cluj-Napoca? No. With FaZe taking this series 2:0, this one won’t necessarily live long in the memory, but we got two competitive matches of Counter-Strike to kick off the final day of PGL Bucharest.
In our Semi-Final preview of this match at PGL Bucharest, I claimed that FaZe Clan could only win this with a better showing out of broky. That’s exactly what we got here, with the AWPer posting two impressive maps – certainly better than anything we saw from him throughout the rest of this event. While frozen topped out the scoreboard for FaZe, it was the impact of broky that allowed EliGE to get one over his ex-team.
