gob b Retires – BIG decided to Restructure CSGO team

German CS:GO fans and enthusiasts were crushed by the latest news that hit their scene. Gob b, probably the best in-game leader from esports in Germany decided not to play CS:GO professionally anymore as he just wanted time for himself and his family.

What’s next for BIG?

Well, not only did they lose their in-game leader, BIG also dropped one of their coaches kakafu, and denis. In my eyes, both of these guys were just a liability, despite gob b being one of the best in-game leaders out there. You simply need to be able to carry your own weight, and Fatih was unable to do so.

What I like about this the most is that gob b knew when to hang up his mouse and keyboard. As for denis, he showed flashes of brilliance, but he was unable to constantly perform at a high level.

BIG instantly brought back smooya to the active line up and it seems like he is taking that primary AWP role, which will leave tabseN with only a rifle. Nex, on the other hand, is still recovering from the injury he suffered in May, and while he is getting back to the full fitness, LEGIJA will step into his shoes.

What to expect from BIG in the future?

Well, to be honest, do not expect a lot from them. Even though they have two insane players in the form of XANTARES and tabseN, I simply do not believe that this roster can make anything significant once compared to teams such as ENCE, Liquid, Astralis, Vitality or even FaZe.

I am expecting early exits from BIG on their next few events as LEGIJA is definitely not playing this game on a high level and other teams will definitely abuse that. All in all, it is going to be interesting to see what does the future hold for German CS:GO organization.
