Thunderpick and Heroic have continued their ongoing partnership by announcing a brand-new CS2 tournament: Thunderpick Path to the Pros. The upcoming CS2 tournament is intended to give regular players the pro experience, giving them a stepping stone into the competitive space.
Qualifiers for the Thunderpick Path to the Pros CS2 tournament will be separated into two brackets. One is reserved for amateurs between FACEIT levels 1-7, while an experienced players bracket will also be open for players between FACEIT levels 8-10. These brackets begin on July 6th, with bi-weekly Saturday matches running until October for a total of 16 qualified teams. Throughout these qualifiers, gamers can even compete against some of Thunderpick’s influencer roster, including Jake Lucky and FlickFlops.

The main event for Thunderpick Path to the Pros is currently slated for a late October / early November start, with concrete details to be communicated in due course. There, the cream of the crop will rise to the top to compete for a $17,500 prize pool, as well as the opportunity to play a showmatch with the Heroic CS2 roster. Thunderpick and Heroic will also be announcing more giveaways over the course of the tournament, too.
