IEM Dallas 2025 Power Rankings

IEM Dallas 2025, the final CS2 tournament before the BLAST.tv Austin Major, kicks off this Monday, May 19. A lot happened in CS2 esports over the past weeks, so there’s no better time to rank the teams attending IEM Dallas.

IEM Dallas 2025 Favorites

The favorite CS2 team to win IEM Dallas 2025 has to be Vitality . The international powerhouse have been on a tear since the addition of former FaZe Clan rifler Robin “ropz” Kool in 2025. Vitality won all the tournaments they attended this year, minus BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, and recently completed their ESL Grand Slam run with the IEM Melbourne 2025 trophy.

Vitality are bound to lose eventually, but at the moment, the other teams don’t know how to stop them.

Ones To Watch

Vitality aside, Falcons and MOUZ are the two other favorites to win IEM Dallas 2025. Falcons won PGL Bucharest 2025 , and MOUZ won PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 — two tournaments that Vitality skipped — and they’re consistently making deep runs, especially Falcons. If there’s anyone capable of toppling Vitality, it is definitely one of these teams.

Besides Falcons and MOUZ, we’ve got teams such as Aurora and The MongolZ , who are consistently reaching the playoffs throughout 2025. While they have not won anything this year, they’re on the verge of breaking through. It would also be silly to disregard Team Liquid  as they’re one of the two home teams at IEM Dallas 2025, and they’ve shown improvements under Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek’s calling.

Here are the IEM Dallas 2025 Power Rankings:

  1. Vitality
  2. Falcons
  3. MOUZ
  4. Aurora
  5. The MongolZ
  6. Team Liquid
  7. FURIA
  8. HEROIC
  9. 3DMAX
  10. G2
  11. FaZe Clan
  12. GamerLegion
  13. NRG
  14. Legacy
  15. Lynn Vision
  16. BC.Game

IEM Dallas 2025 Underdogs

One of the underdogs at IEM Dallas 2025 certainly is FURIA.  The Brazilian organization has revamped its roster with the additions of the Kazakhstani AWPer Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and the Latvian rifler Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, and those changes were enough to make them finish top four at PGL Astana 2025. The team’s captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo had a great debut as a rifler; YEKINDAR found some great opening frags in nearly all games played, and showed glimpses of his Virtus.pro days; and molodoy proved that he’s a more than capable sniper.

It remains to be seen, though, if FURIA can keep the ball rolling now that every other top team will analyze their games and try to counter their plays.

HEROIC could also catch some teams off guard at IEM Dallas 2025 . Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia and co. played tier-two tournaments in the first half of 2025, and they won the last two they played — mainly CCT Season 2 Global Finals and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025.

HEROIC definitely have enough firepower to reach the playoffs and challenge some of the top teams.

One More Underdog

Even though FaZe Clan have been going through a slump,  it’s impossible to ignore them.  The team threw a Hail-Mary after BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 and signed Oleksandr Kostyliev to replace Helvijs “broky” Saukants until the BLAST.tv Austin Major ends. Who knows what kind of s1mple we’ll get to see at IEM Dallas 2025, but nobody should ignore his potential to take over matches. He still has a lot to prove in CS2, but he is undeniably the best CS:GO player ever.

It’s a shame that FaZe Clan will be playing with stand-in Felipe “skullz” Medeiros instead of Håvard “rain” Nygaard at Dallas, as the Norwegian is skipping the tournament due to the imminent birth of his second son. But we’ve seen FaZe thrive with temporary players in the past, so who knows what will happen at IEM Dallas 2025.
