Best performing Dota 2 players of 2024
As the 2024 Dota 2 season comes to an end, we have witnessed many unforgettable moments, where pros perform phenomenally.
To wrap the year up, here’s the hall of fame for the best performing Dota 2 players of 2024.

Neta “33” Shapira
Starting off strong on the list of best performing Dota 2 players in 2024 is none other than Neta “33” Shapira. 33’s victory with Team Liquid at the International 2024 (TI14) engraves him as a two-time TI Champion.
However, what makes him deserving of being the best performing Dota 2 player in 2024 is that he won two TI with different teams. It’s a testament to his prowess as an offlane player and how his past accomplishment isn’t just a fluke.
Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
The latest TI Champion is accompanied by a player of similar caliber at TI14. Samuel “Boxi” Svahn is Team Liquid’s support player, who has been fundamental in turning the tides of many team fights. Renowned for his life-saving plays with Tusk, Boxi has kept 33 and his fellow teammates alive from the worst smoke ganks.
In addition to being one of the best performing Dota 2 players in 2024, Boxi has style, rocking his signature round sunglasses.

Quinn “Quinn” Callahan
Second only to the TI14 Champions is Quinn “Quinn” Callahan from Gaimin Gladiators. Gaimin Gladiators have performed consistently throughout the 2023-2024 season and made it into two grand finals of TI Championships.
Quinn, despite going under the radar when it comes to the best performing Dota 2 players in 2024, is finally getting his much-deserved recognition. Quinn’s mid-laning capabilities has been one of the most reliable, often coming out on top, if not, not falling far behind his rivals.

Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf
Team Falcons is a new player in town among other Dota 2 powerhouses. Yet, it didn’t take long for the Saudi Arabian team to build up their reputation by winning the most Dota 2 tournaments in 2024.
From BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, ESL One Birmingham 2024, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, DreamLeague S22, S23 and most recently S24, which are among the best Dota 2 tournaments in 2024. That’s a lot of feats for a team that’s merely a year old.

In the center of Falcons’ success is Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, their trusty offlane player. Despite his feud with many players and even in pubs, ATF is well-regarded by his teammates, who held him in high regard. And, they are for good reasons, since ATF’s skills as an offlane player speaks for himself.
Oliver “skiter” Lepko
Another Falcons player, who managed to make the dream work, is Oliver “skiter” Lepko. Skiter was a former ally of 33 during his Tundra Esports days, when he won TI11.
Although both players have gone their separate ways, they still find themselves meeting one another in every tournament in 2024, albeit as opponents. Nevertheless, this is a testament to skiter’s skills as one of the best Dota 2 players in 2024 too, simply because his skills put Falcons among the best Dota 2 teams in 2024 too.
Honorable Mention
Last but not least, we believe Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko deserves a shoutout amongst the best Dota 2 players in 2024. Representing BetBoom Team, Pure and his teammates have made the team one of the most fearsome rivals for many teams, including Team Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid and Tundra Esports.
Hence, when Pure finally won his first major tournament in 2024 at the BLAST Slam I, it was a defining moment for the young prodigy. Pure has always been a formidable carry player, who rarely fumbles in matches. But for many past tournaments, BetBoom often fell short of lifting any trophies.

Thus, even if Pure didn’t bag the most tournaments in 2024, he still earned an honorable mention among the best Dota 2 players in 2024. Additionally, when he played for Tundra Esports at TI14, the team made it to fourth place, which was a commendable effort.
All in all, the best Dota 2 players in 2024 fought tooth and nail to accomplish their current recognition. As the new 2025 season creeps closer, we might just see some of these talents continue to deliver their utmost best performances.
