MOUZ Wins First S-Tier LAN Trophy in Dota 2 at PGL Wallachia Season 6

MOUZ has had extended stints in the Dota 2 esports scene, dating back to 2011. After several rosters and breaks from the scene, the organization has finally won its first S-Tier LAN trophy, beating favorites Team Spirit in a best-of-five slugfest—despite playing with two stand-ins during portions of the event.

During the post-TI roster shuffle, MOUZ announced its new squad on September 20, 2025, which marked the return of the legendary Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng. As it turns out, the roster moves paid dividends at PGL Wallachia Season 6.

MOUZ’s Incredible Lower-Bracket Run at PGL Wallachia S6

MOUZ got off to a solid start at PGL Wallachia Season 6, going 3-1 in the group stage to secure a playoff spot. However, in the first round of the double-elimination bracket, MOUZ got smacked down by PARIVISION

Just one loss away from elimination, MOUZ rallied, showcasing their resilience throughout four tough best-of-three matches. First, MOUZ made quick work of HEROIC with a 2-0 win, and dealt the new-look OG the same swift 2-0 blow.

In the lower-bracket semifinal, MOUZ managed to pull off a massive comeback against BetBoom Team, completing a reverse sweep for a 2-1 win. To earn a spot in the grand final, they got past an on-form Team Liquid with a narrow 2-1 victory.

Team Spirit were one of the favorites at PGL Wallachia Season 6, and wasted no time showing their teeth by going up 1-0. MOUZ bounced back with vigor, winning two in a row for a 2-1 scoreline. Team Spirit refused to go down without a fight, tying up the score 2-2. In the fifth and final game, it was MOUZ who shut down Team Spirit at every turn.

MOUZ ended up lifting the PGL Wallachia Season 6 trophy after surviving the 3-2 slugfest, making it the organization’s first S-Tier LAN event win in Dota 2.

Stand-Ins Help MOUZ Secure the Trophy

At the start of PGL Wallachia Season 6, MOUZ announced they would play with stand-ins Daniel “Ghost” Chan and Oleh “kaori” Medvedok in place of carry Remco “Crystallis” Arets and captain Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp due to health reasons.

While Crystallis returned to compete during the tournament, Seleri didn’t make it to the grand final to face Team Spirit. Playing with kaori as a stand-in, MOUZ still managed to beat Team Spirit in the best-of-five slugfest.

Lifting the trophy while their captain was sick showcases resilience and a core roster that is insatiable.
