Team Falcons has claimed victory at DreamLeague Season 23, defeating Gaimin Gladiators 3-0 in the Grand Finals. Despite being sent to the Lower Bracket earlier in the tournament, Falcons were able to battle back and secure the win in a dominant showing.
Falcons began the day by sweeping Lower Bracket opponents BetBoom Team in dominant fashion. Despite BetBoom being quicker on the uptake on the huge patch that dropped during the event, Team Falcons were able to muscle through to a 2-1.

The finals match kicked off with a bang with a brutal stomp by Team Falcons. Giving Cr1t- his signature Hoodwink, and while this wasn’t the deciding pick of the match it definitely had a huge effect. This short match ran for just 25 minutes before GG said FF and go next.
Reassessing their picks, Gaimin went in to game two with an unorthodox Wraith King carry. This was a good idea on paper, as the hard pushing zombie king was able to trouble Falcons, especially in the early game.
However, relying on your carry dying for a power spike turned out to be a bad strategy, especially against Team Falcons’ comp filled with crowd control. The end result was a slow loss for Gaimin and onto game three.
The last match was Gaimin’s final chance for redemption. The team has struggled this year to replicate their incredible success from 2023. But sadly this was not to be.
Falcons found themselves with a full draft of highly aggressive comfort picks, while Gaimin once again returned to a seemingly confusing composition again relying on cores dying.
This, surprisingly, didn’t result in a victory for Gaimin, as Falcons, seemingly inevitably took the win.
Falcons take home $300,000 and a guaranteed invite to Riyadh Masters. Gaimin Gladiators will likely also receive a direct invite, but nothing official has been announced. It seems unlikely any team will be able to dethrone Falcons before the end of the season.
