Recap on DreamLeague S25 Grand Finals
The first grand finals match began with a convincing win for Team Spirit, as Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk played Nature’s Prophet phenomenally. He simply overwhelmed Tundra’s players, and even rendered Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov’s Sven obsolete by kiting him relentlessly.
In game 2, it was Tundra’s turn to return the favor of stomping over Team Spirit. This time, with legendary offlane player, Neta “33” Shapira’s Abaddon, who managed to secure a 12-minute Radiance. He had such a great head start as Tundra’s offlaner, allowing even dyrachyo’s underperforming Tiny to eventually regain its momentum. With the duo, Tundra was unkillable and bulldozed through Spirit’s line-up to claim game 2 victory.
With two matches down, game 3 became the most intense match of the series, spanning past the 66-minute mark. Both teams were at each others’ necks, causing a relatively even game all-in-all. However, it was Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov’s Bane, that became the unlikely gamechanger, who sealed Team Spirit’s game 3 victory. His Bane has had some crucial moments in saving allies and even disabling enemy players, that disrupted their fights.

Going into game 4 was when technical issues rose, particularly Team Spirit players, who got DDOS attack. Two of its players were unable to login and reconnect into the half-time of game 4, before ESL decided to postpone the grand finals. Met with controversy on ESL’s decision of not adhering to their own tournament rule book, fans called out ESL for being biased.
Nevertheless, game 4 and 5 resume two days beyond schedule. Martin “Saksa” Sazdov kicked off the round with a pause, which turned out to not be another DDOS attack, but presumably a jab on Team Spirit for previously not having DDOS protection for their players.
Anyways, Tundra hits back hard in game 4 with dyrachyo having a flawless performance on Phantom Assassin. With the rest of Tundra backing him up with proper plays and execution, they did not take long to snatch game 4 within 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, Team Spirit had the last laugh with Yatoro picking Clinkz. A hero pick, which he had previously lost 2 games, which is never a good sign. Even so, Yatoro proved the numbers wrong by playing his elusive Clinkz, which was a menace for Tundra’s backlines.
