Details of The International 2024 Ticket Sales Released

The Dota 2 International 2024 is just a few months away, and Valve has released details of ticket prices and sales information. The prices were unveiled on Friday, June 7, on the official Dota 2 blog, and showed that prices haven’t increased from last year, but they weren’t getting much cheaper either.

A full three-day weekend bundle for finals day will cost DKK 4740, or around $685 USD, with 40 DKK of booking fees included. Last year, at TI12 in Seattle, a three-day pass for the full event, cost $699 USD before booking fees.

Tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster from June 10, 2024 at 10am CEST, Copenhagen local time.

Below we’ve broken down the costs of a ticket to TI13 based on Valve’s pricing listed on the blog post, and added the current USD conversion rate at the time of writing.

  • Single Daily tickets
    • Friday – DKK 1240 / $179
    • Saturday – DKK 1540 / USD $223
    • Sunday – DKK 2040 / USD $295
  • 2-Day Bundle
    • Friday + Saturday – DKK 2740 / USD $396
    • Saturday + Sunday – DKK 3540 / USD $512
  • 3-day Bundle
    • Friday + Saturday + Sunday – DKK 4740 / USD $685

The pricing actually works out a little cheaper than TI12 in Seattle, especially when you consider these prices are reportedly including transaction fees.

However the big difference is that these prices have been posted directly to Valve’s blog. For last year’s TI, the company shied away from listing the prices on their own site. This year, the company has been more transparent.

Why so few days?

The other big surprise is the lack of tickets for the “Road to the International.” The number of ticketed days for The International has slowly been decreasing over the past few years, to the current point where the portion of the event that fans can attend is now just three days.

Compare this to TI12, where fans could attend three days of the Road to the International plus the three finals days. For TI11, in Singapore, there were seven total days with a live audience.

As a result, the biggest event on the Dota 2 calendar does already feel a little smaller than expected. Despite its footprint on the calendar spanning months, fans will be live in attendance for just three days.

Full information on tickets, an FAQ, and how to buy are available on the official Dota 2 website.
