TI13 Compendium Fantasy Guide
The International 2024, TI13, is just hours away, which means you need to lock in your Compendium Fantasy and make sure you’re winning some points.
This year’s TI Compendium Fantasy is similar to last years with a few additional wrinkles. The banner system has returned, and your stats are up to the luck of rerolls. Still, there is some method you can apply to the madness, and we’re here to give you a guide to the confusing world of TI13 Compendium Fantasy
How The International 2024 Fantasy Works
Dota 2 International 2024 Compendium Fantasy works by earning points for things achieved in-game. Players you select will earn points for a variety of factors:

There are three positions each with their own War Banner.
Each of the three positions will have both two titles and three emblems
Titles are broad buffs based on in-game factors, such as “Brawny” (13% points when playing a strength hero). These can be rerolled by selecting the banner. Remember to reroll these to effective stats!
Emblems fall into three categories and are more specific. While titles can often affect all three positions well, Emblems are more specific. Emblems can be enhanced with up to five tiers, granting between 10% and 150% points boost based on their type.
There are Red Traits, Blue Traits, and Green Traits. Generally Red Traits are based on personal kill counts and scores, Blue Traits are supportive, and Green are team-focused. Here are all the Traits.

Emblems are also modified by Emblem Traits. There are five Emblem Traits which have negative and synergistic elements depending on your aim. Here’s the five traits:

Our TI13 Group Stage Fantasy Picks
Here’s our current TI13 Fantasy Picks. Bear in mind these aren’t perfect, but are as close to it as we could get without spending a fortune on Fantasy Rerolls (or playing lots of Dota, but who wants to do that?).

We went with Spirit’s Yatoro, Gaimin’s Quinn, and Xtreme Gaming’s Dy for our fantasy picks. We attempted to gear their Traits and Emblems around their role and playstyle, but ultimately, even with 70+ rerolls, we couldn’t always get what we wanted.
After the initial Road to the International period, players will receive their rewards and more rerolls, including any accumulated rerolls from past levels. This means you’ll be able to modify your Fantasy roster two more times before the end of TI13.
Final Points for this period from this lineup: 30,737.5
TI13 Playoffs Fantasy Picks

We switched out Quinn for this period, but stuck with Yatoro and Dy due to their fantastic scores. A few rerolls used on improving the Titles on each of our players helped balance out our stats, and we attempted to land better Green traits on Emblems on our Core. Overall we think this should net us some great points.
(This resulted in a top 10% score), 40,000+ points
TI13 Playoff Finals Fantasy Picks
For the final period of Fantasy it was important to consider two things: The number of games teams would play and their potential to win. In an ideal situation, we’d be predicting a lower bracket run by a series of underdogs. For this reason, we completely switched up our choices for the final picks, looking at teams who had statistically been high performers in long games with a chance for a lot of games.

As a result, we’re all in on Tundra and C9 for the final portion of Fantasy.
