Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date has been confirmed for Friday, March 22nd 2024.

After a long 12-year wait, Capcom’s open-world role-playing game is finally here. DD2 has you take on the role of the Arisen, a person whose heart has been taken by a dragon, and you must travel the world to retrieve it.

An improved version of the original Dragon’s Dogma’s Pawn system is included in the game, enabling you to create a companion who can join other players in their games and go on adventures to discover new things. Dragon’s Dogma 2 classes also provide new ways to overcome enemies you’ll encounter in its vast open world.

The Dragon’s Dogma 2 release time differs depending on whether you’re playing the game on PC or console, so we’ve split the guide into separate sections.

Dragon Dogma 2 Release Date and Time on Xbox and PS5

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will launch on the PS5 and Xbox One on Friday, March 22, at 12 a.m. GMT / 12 a.m. EDT. On Thursday, March 21, at 9 p.m. PDT, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on the PS5 and Xbox.

The US is an exception to the global Dragon’s Dogma 2 PS5 and Xbox release time of midnight (local time) on Friday, March 22. It goes live at midnight EDT on Thursday, March 21, and is available at 11 p.m. CDT, 10 p.m. MDT, and 9 p.m. PDT in all other US time zones.

Remember, there is an Xbox New Zealand trick, which involves setting your console’s location to New Zealand so that you may play a game when it releases there. This should theoretically work for those of you playing the game on Xbox Series X|S as the game releases at midnight regardless of the region.

Dragon Dogma 2 Release Date and Time on PC

On Friday, March 22, at midnight GMT, and on Thursday, March 21, at 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT, Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released for PC.

Unlike the console versions, the PC version of Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released concurrently globally. Terrific news for players in the US. You may begin your adventure right now rather than waiting until Friday, March 22.

However, it is bad news for people who live in places like Europe, Asia, or Australia because it means they will have to wait until later in the day to participate.
