The partnership will see Esports Charts measure the event’s viewership and fan engagement throughout the tournament, providing important data for viewers and brands across all competitions. The company announced that it “aims to deliver comprehensive viewership insights for the EWC 2024”, including “daily-updated data on the popularity of esports team, channels, as well as official and community casting.”
Esports Charts has established itself as one of the leading data analytics company when it comes to gauging esports viewership. Aside from the EWC Foundation, it also formed with other tournament organizers and game publishers such as Ubisoft and PUBG’s creators, KRAFTON.
“Our collaboration with the Esports World Cup is a testament to the growing importance of data-driven insights in esports,” said Artyom Odintsov, co-founder and CEO of Esports Charts. “By providing detailed viewership analytics, we aim to enable EWC organizers to make informed decisions and enhance the overall experience, ensuring the event’s success and growth.”
Esports Charts is the latest partner
Apart from Esports Charts, the Esports World Cup Foundation recently announced Logitech G, Heinz, and Secretlab as their newest partners for their event. These four companies have joined the likes of Adidas, Amazon, TikTok, Pepsi, Unilever, and HONOR, among others.
Taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Esports World Cup took headlines as the successor of Gamers8 and featuring a prize pool of $60 million to be split across 22 tournaments. The event began at the start of July and will end towards the end of August. Despite hosting one of the biggest esports events in the world, the EWC attracted lots of concerns from the esports community considering its backing from the Saudi Arabian government and the country’s human rights record.
