Final Esports World Cup 2026 Game Revealed and You Won’t Expect It
The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and Ubisoft Nadeo have announced a multi-year partnership that will see Trackmania added to the Esports World Cup 2026, which returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this summer.
The inclusion of Trackmania expands the Esports World Cup 2026 game lineup with a racing esport built around time-trial competition and round-based elimination. With no upgrades or randomness, races are decided by the smallest margins, emphasizing mechanical skill, consistency, and precision.
“Trackmania has always been one of gaming’s purest level playing fields: same car, same track, no RNG – it is all about precision, memory, and nerve,” said Fabian Scheuermann, Chief Games Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation. He added that the EWC stage represents a major moment for the Trackmania community, connecting grassroots players and professionals through a global final and allowing fans to experience competition on identical maps at home.
Ubisoft Nadeo Managing Director Florent Castelnerac described the selection as “a major milestone” for the game, noting that Trackmania was conceived as a solo competition where players race against time itself. According to Castelnerac, bringing the title to the EWC honors its long-standing legacy while opening new opportunities for players worldwide.

Format, Prize Pool & Qualification
Trackmania at EWC 2026 will feature 32 players competing for a $500,000 prize pool. The group stage will feature four-player lobbies in a double-elimination format, with the top eight players from each group advancing.
From there, 16 competitors will move into single-elimination playoffs to decide the Trackmania champion in Riyadh.
Qualification will include an open in-game qualifier, offering a direct path to the EWC. Eight players will qualify through Trackmania’s in-game system, with full details set to be revealed alongside a game update on January 26.
