Farlight 84 has experienced immense growth since its release in April. Primarily made as a mobile-friendly game for iOS and Android devices, Farlight 84 wants to expand its reach into other platforms. Farlight 84 controller support has been a constant topic among fans of the game.

Does Farlight 84 have controller support?

Yes, but with a few setbacks. The game is still in its early days, and although some fans prefer using controllers, the developers are yet to fully implement the feature on both Mobile and PCs. Many fans prefer using controllers as Farlight 84’s crossplay feature means they can play on multiple devices and have a unified control scheme.

Farlight 84 controller support for mobile barely has any function, as very few buttons work. You can only shoot and perform basic movements. Nothing else works apart from those two actions; no ADS, no jumping, no crouching, and other necessary actions needed to play the game. This puts anyone who tries to use a controller on mobile at a disadvantage in matches.

On the other hand, Farlight 84 controller support on PC isn’t as bad as it is on mobile but has issues as it is still in beta. The Farlight 84 new update in mid-June was focused mainly on fixing Farlight 84 controller support for both PC and mobile. With this update, aim assist was added for the PC controller, while sprinting was added only on mobile. Many mobile players aren’t happy with this and can only hope for more fixes in future updates.

How to enable Farlight 84 Controller Support on PC

  • First off, you’re going to need to connect your preferred gaming controller to the PC, either with a USB cable or via Bluetooth.
  • After connecting the controller, open Steam and go to Settings > Controller. Enable steam input for Xbox controllers and steam input for PlayStation controllers, as shown below.
  • After both steam inputs have been enabled, head over to your Library > Farlight 84, open up its properties, and head over to controllers. As shown below, among the options for “Override for Farlight 84,” you will pick “Enable steam input.”.
  • Lastly, after you’ve enabled the steam input as shown above, you go back to library > Farlight 84, and there you will see “controller layout” right beside “support” or a controller icon beside the manage icon (this only shows when the controller is connected to your PC). This will open up a panel where you can edit the default controller layout into your personal controller layout, as shown below.

And with your Farlight 84 controls set, you can finally play Farlight 84 to the fullest with fully functional controller support. Any further controller settings, such as sensitivity and others, can be done in-game.

How to enable Farlight 84 Controller Support on Mobile

Once again, Farlight 84 controller support for mobile barely has any function, only providing movement and shooting while missing other essential controls. While we wouldn’t recommend using a controller for mobile, here is the way to connect your preferred gaming controller to your mobile device for those who would like to test it out for themselves.

  • Firstly, you go over to Settings > Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  • While there, you get your controller and turn on its pairing mode. For PlayStation, you hold down the power button and share button till the controller light starts flashing, while for the Xbox controller, you tap the power button once and hold down the sync button till the light that comes from the power button starts flashing rapidly.
  • When your controller has been put in pairing mode, you go back to your phone, scan, and wait till it picks up your controller.
  • It will show up as a “wireless controller.” as shown above. Once you see this, you click, and it will ask you if you want to pair. All you have to do is accept, and you’re ready to go.

And that’s it for mobile connection; once accepted, all you need to do next is open your game and play. No third-party app is needed.

Just downloaded your game thought I would try it out because it had controller support. Yeah Bull shit there’s no button to turn it on and I have deleted your trash game
