Fortnite Loot Pool to get major influx of weapons soon
The Fortnite loot pool changed once going from Chapter 5 Season 2 to Season 3, reintroducing the Enforcer Assault Rifle among others. Even though the new season is just a few days old, the weapon selection is likely to change again very soon.
A new leak has surfaced showcasing a few weapons that are slated to reenter the game. A few will be returning favorites, while others are going to make their debut in the Wasteland.

Fortnite Loot Pool Likely Getting New Weapons Soon
According to leaker HYPEX, who has broken a lot of news surrounding the game, several big weapons are in line for the loot pool. There are a few returning items, such as the Heavy Sniper Rifle, the Flintlock Pistol, the Minigun, Treasure Maps, and Pirate Cannons.
They will likely have some buffs or nerfs. For example, the Heavy Sniper Rifle is said to have three times the damage to vehicles. This is likely to combat the rise in car usage during this season.
Some new items being added are the Magneto Mythics, which will presumably have something to do with controlling metal. This may well be another counter to the modded vehicle surge. These will come to the Fortnite loot pool midseason when Wastelander Magneto is unlocked on the Battle Pass.
Epic Games is also adding a TowHook Gun, a Tri-Beam Laser Rifle, and a Revolver Shotgun. These all fit pretty well with the theme of the season. Others match up with the rumored Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, giving further credibility to that leak.
It is very likely that some weapons will have to leave to make room for incoming ones. The Enforcer AR just got added, so it’s likely safe. However, weapons like the Harbinger SMG, the Gatekeeper Shotgun, the DMR, and others that have been around for more than one season are potential replacement candidates once the new weapons begin rolling in. The leak did not give a timetable, but it’s likely that these weapons will be in sooner rather than later. They seem to all be designed for Chapter 5 Season 3. Therefore, they’ll be in with plenty of time to use them this season.
