Epic Games has just added a Fortnite Darth Vader AI to the game. All NPCs are artificial intelligence. They do things based on programming and their code. This one, however, is very different from all the rest. Here’s what it can do if you get it on your team.

Here’s What the AI Fortnite Darth Vader Does

The new Darth Vader artificial intelligence is one of the most impressive NPCs Fortnite has ever had. It arrived in Friday’s update. First and foremost, it can talk to players. If it joins your squad, which is one of the things it can do, according to leaker ShiinaBR, then you can talk to it.

Of course, it’s an AI NPC, so it’s not going to have deep conversations with your squad, but it can reply. It can also say something based on the situation it or your team is in. Vader will also give warnings when there are enemies around and summarize gameplay events for you. In order to talk to it, you have to enable a setting. Go to keyboard/controller settings. Assign a key or button for it. Then, after defeating the boss, you can talk.

The AI cannot, however, engage in anything romantic with players. This was also reported by ShiinaBR, which implies that some Fortnite gamers tried to get into a relationship with the AI. The NPC will also give positive feedback to players, especially if it senses that something’s wrong. It will say, “You are valued, Trooper. Seek assistance from the authorities. Your well-being is paramount.”

The NPC is also reportedly capable of singing songs in the classic Darth Vader voice. However, understandably, it is restricted to Disney and Star Wars songs. The Jam Tracks can be performed by the Star Wars character, which is something no NPC has ever been able to do before. There is a video of it conversing with Nick Eh 30, calling him by name and referencing his “Never back down, never give up” mantra, too.

You can find the NPC on the map and join the dark side to get it on your team. You will also get his lightsaber as a melee weapon. Vader has a health bar that appears on your screen just as if you were playing with a real teammate. Therefore, the AI can die.
