Fortnite Ranked Issues this Season

In our most recent issue, Fortnite Status acknowledged the issue, stating that they are investigating a crashing problem that has led to the temporary disabling of Ranked Battle Royale and Ranked Zero Build. However, this has done little to quell the frustration of players who are eager to climb the ranks and showcase their skills.

Reddit user Brady4775 echoed the sentiments of many when they posted on the FortniteCompetitive subreddit, expressing their confusion and frustration at the current state of the ranking system. The user, along with others, reported being re-ranked from higher divisions to lower ones, with the difficulty of the division remaining the same. This has led to a sense of disillusionment among players, with some even comparing the ranked games to public matches due to the lack of differentiation in skill levels.

Adding to the confusion, some players have reported being placed in lower ranks despite performing well in their placement games. This has led to a sense of inconsistency in the ranking system, with players unsure of how their performance is being evaluated.

The issues extend beyond just the ranking system. Some players have reported problems accessing the game altogether, with crashes occurring when trying to load into matches. This has further exacerbated the frustration felt by the community, as they are unable to participate in the game they love.

In response to June 2023 issues, some players have taken to social media to voice their concerns and call for Epic Games to fix the problems with the ranking system. The community’s outcry is a testament to their passion for the game and their desire for a fair and functional ranking system.

In light of these issues, it’s worth noting that Fortnite’s new ranked mode has a specific problem with its Zero Build feature. The issue lies in the fact that Zero Build fans are only allowed to play ranked mode in the duos playlist, leaving no option to play alone, with a trio, or a squad of four. This has created some dissatisfaction among players who prefer different modes of play.

Despite the current issues, the Fortnite community remains hopeful that Epic Games will address these problems and restore the ranking system to its former glory. Until then, players will have to navigate the stormy seas of the current ranking system, armed with nothing but their skills and their perseverance.
