Fortnite Chapter 2 map to return soon per a leak

Fortnite Chapter 2 was a very popular time for the game. By now, it is well past, which means it is subject to the nostalgia that comes with everything old in the video game world.

As Epic Games learned with the OG season, the players yearn for the old days. While many of them still prefer Chapter 1 to Chapter 2, there are plenty who’d welcome the chance to revisit the Agency, Catty Corner, or Craggy Cliffs. Pretty soon, they will be able to.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Map Coming Soon

Epic Games stunned the world when they brought back the original map, even if it was for a brief period of time. Their player counts rose, and longtime players returned from “retirement” to get back into the game. Many of them stayed around for Chapter 5, though they slowly left the game after the rush of the OG season faded. With Chapter 6 coming soon, it appears that Epic Games is going to try a similar tactic. This time, they’re expected to bring back the Fortnite Chapter 2 map instead.

According to the latest leak from ShiinaBR, a renowned leaker within the gaming community, the Chapter 2 map is coming.

There are only about 109 days remaining in the current chapter, which includes the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 4. Once both the current and next seasons end, players will be able to spend one month on the Fortnite Chapter 2 map before rolling into Chapter 6. It will essentially be another OG season.

Epic Games has struggled with how to handle the OG things. The decision to bring back the original game (weapons, map, and all) was a huge success, but players didn’t like when it ended and they had to return to the overbearing, convoluted game that has become prominent today. Epic Games attempted to appease that sect of the player base by bringing back a permanent mode with original aspects in Fortnite Reloaded.

However, Reloaded is not the same as Battle Royale and the map is in the image of the original but it isn’t a replica. It’s different enough that many players can say that Epic missed the mark. Perhaps bringing back the Chapter 2 map will help and give Epic more of an idea of what everyone wants.
