Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 set the trend with a huge Marvel collab. The entire season was a collaboration, as the story revolved solely around the superheroes trying to fight off Galactus. There weren’t any original skins in that Battle Pass, just existing characters.

Then, in Chapter 3 Season 4, Epic Games continued the trend subtly by introducing Spider-Gwen as part of the Battle Pass. Chapter 4 Season 4 broke the trend, though they did have a Disney hero in the pass with Ahsoka Tano.

Based on a new leak, Chapter 5 Season 4 will reintroduce the Marvel collab trend.

Marvel Collab Returning with Major Characters in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 isn’t out yet. In fact, it’s a long way off. Chapter 5 Season 3 just debuted on May 24, so there’s still plenty of time remaining. With that said, the leaks have already begun.

According to reliable leaker HYPEX, a Deadpool & Wolverine collaboration is planned for next season. Epic Games is reportedly reworking the Mythic Wolverine Claws to bring them back next season.

It’s worth noting that the third film in the Deadpool trilogy is coming out in July, and the current season of Fortnite extends into August. However, it will be pretty close to the new season’s debut, and the film will likely still be in theaters at that time.

It’s also important to point out that both Wolverine and Deadpool have already been part of their own battle passes. That means they can’t come back, at least not in the same form.

However, Epic Games has and often does get creative to bring things back. A few skins on the current pass are good examples of that. The new Marvel collab skins will be redesigned and perhaps made more like their film counterparts in order to satisfy the longstanding rule that battle pass skins cannot come back.

Either way, it seems like the in-game items are being updated for a return and that could spell a big Marvel season on the horizon. There are no Marvel skins in the current Fortnite Season 3 Chapeter 5 (though the Item Shop has been full of them lately), but they may be coming back in a few months.
