Fortnite Chapter 6 is almost here. At the end of the month, players will have to leave the Chapter 2 Remix island behind and once again be thrust into the future. When OG dropped and took everyone back in time, there was a major shift in returning to the present with Chapter 5. While the same major shift isn’t likely to occur, things will be different in Chapter 6.
That includes the island, which may be unlike any island seen before. With leaks and teasers flying furiously and more coming in the next few days, we are beginning to get a solid look at what the new chapter and season might look like. To that end, an official look at a few of the new POIs has just dropped.

According to HYPEX, the leaker who has been responsible for a lot of major Fortnite leaks, we now have a good look at some of the locations in Fortnite. The Japanese theme which was leaked earlier is very apparent. In one image, there’s a Japanese-style building (similar to what used to populate Lucky Landing) called Tanuki Twinkle. There are paper lamps present as well. This one has a pink color scheme and will join the map in the next major update.
Another is similar with a blue look. There are more Japanese-style buildings, and it’s unclear if this is a separate landmark or a continuation of the first. A third one ditches the look and feel of the first two for a harsh, brown building with a menacing statue out front. There’s also a bull with glowing red eyes on the front of the building.
Finally, a futuristic town akin to Neo Tilted and Mega City but with the same Japanese theme is present. This one has Durr Sushi and a few other city-style skyscrapers in the background. The latter two certainly look like totally different places on the brand-new Chapter 6 map.
