Fortnite Chapter 7, much like Chapter 5, could be monumental for the evolution of the game. What was once a PvE game mode with zombies has transformed into a massive gaming experience. Battle Royale is the breadwinner, but there are so many other major game modes present. Now, a new leak suggests that there’s going to be yet another one added next chapter. Here’s what we know.

Per leaker HYPEX, a minigames mode has just leaked. Video games nowadays don’t have minigames like they used to, but some still have fun, unrelated little games to give players a break from the main grind.
While Fortnite has plenty to do to distract from the main grind of Battle Royale, this would serve the same basic function. It would be another alternative for what is quickly becoming a massive sandbox of experiences.
The leaker noted that this could be for Fortnite Chapter 7, which is undoubtedly well off in the distance. Chapter 6 only debuted a few months ago, and Chapter 7 is not likely for another couple of seasons at the earliest. The shortest chapter was Chapter 3 which only had four seasons. So at a minimum, Chapter 7 won’t come until the current season (not OG) and two more go by, which will be a while from now.
The leak suggests that this new game mode could have Bowling, Jenga, Beach Ball, and plenty of other minigame experiences. It also noted that this game mode has been in development for at least two years and that the physics update might’ve delayed it.
Some of the games will rely on physics that Fortnite currently doesn’t have, though the leaked physics update is supposed to come eventually. Once it does, this new game mode might not be far behind.
Keep in mind that this is a leak. It’s an exciting one, but it’s a leak. Therefore, it is not confirmed until the game mode actually arrives, or it is announced by Epic. Given how far off this could be, a confirmation is not likely any time soon.
