Fortnite x Fallout teaser drops ahead of Chapter 5 Season 3

Let the teasing begin for Fortnite x Fallout. The massive upcoming collaboration is slated to be part of Chapter 5 Season 3 based on the in-game news and the initial teaser released several days ago. Epic Games just released another teaser, adding a dimension to this collab that many might not have considered. It is expected to introduce skins, NPCs on the island, and other cosmetics, but the latest teaser showcases an in-game addition that could completely change how Fortnite is played.

Fortnite x Fallout Power Armor Gets Shown Off

Anyone who has played Fallout in any capacity, or even those who have strictly seen the recent popular television series, will know about the power armor that players can get. It’s a major part of the games and it was big for the show as well. This teaser shared by the official Fortnite X account shows off what the T-60 Power Armor will look like in-game. It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of video because it only lasts two seconds, but the power armor is there.

Five characters walk slowly into the frame. This is because the armor is extremely heavy. Fallout characters who use it have to walk a lot slower than they normally would. There appear to be a few different styles or variations of the armor. The characters are also carrying guns and weapons that haven’t been used in Fortnite before. Not only is power armor coming, but brand-new weapons for the loot pool are possible, too.

It was originally believed that the Fortnite x Fallout collaboration was going to introduce the power armor with its own character. It would be a member of the Brotherhood of Steel and an NPC. The character may have possibly been part of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass. That may still be true. However, it now looks like the Power Armor will also be an item in the game. It will presumably be this season’s Mythic. As for the characters, the Battle Pass and possibly Item Shop might instead include Vault Dwellers, Knights of the Brotherhood, or even Ghouls from the game and show.
