Fortnite x Five Nights at Freddy’s Rumors Spread
The latest rumor to hit the mill will have fans of a theoretical Fortnite x Five Nights at Freddy’s collaboration giddy. Renowned leaker ShiinaBR has the latest evidence of a pending collaboration between the two massive gaming brands.
According to the leak, FNAF has teased a major collab on August 6. That’s the same day as an upcoming update for Fortnite. After years of leaks, rumors, and speculations, this seems to be the closest this crossover has come to fruition.
It’s worth noting that this is barely even a leak. Nothing has been found in the game files recently and Epic Games didn’t accidentally let something slip. This is a rumor, albeit one with mounting evidence. The fact that these two games have been linked for so long and they are now teasing major changes on the same day implies more than a coincidence.
FNAF is a horror game, which would make it right at home during the Halloween season in Fortnite. It wouldn’t be the first time a huge game brand worked its way into Fortnite, either (God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Among Us, Tomb Raider).
Additionally, the game already has a skin that eerily resembles Five Nights at Freddy’s characters. Megg, a character who debuted in Chapter 2 Season 6 and was most recently seen in the Item Shop on April 2, is the picture of a FNAF x Fortnite collaboration.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s x Fortnite crossover has shown up in many fan surveys. It has also been leaked, teased, and rumored for a long time. Is the long wait finally over? Will Freddy and his cohorts make it into the metaverse?
