Fortnite is giving away free V-Bucks to certain players

Fortnite is giving some players free V-Bucks. This is something that happens from time to time, as Epic Games aims to compensate any mistake it may have made. If they make a mistake, they own up to it and reward players for understanding and sticking with them. That is partly why they have developed such a loyal community that has a game still thriving after seven years. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time that certain players are given free V-Bucks. Here’s who qualifies and how much they’re getting this time.

Fortnite Players Are Earning Free V-Bucks

If you are one of the players who purchased the Darth Maul wheels for Rocket Racing and cars in Battle Royale, then you’re in luck (sort of). The original price of the tires has been adjusted down, so anyone who paid that price has been given back 300 free V-Bucks. Epic has recently done a lot of adjusting in pricing as they fine-tune how much everything for the newer game modes (like Festival, LEGO, Rocket Racing) should cost. There was also a bug with the Crew Pack, so the currency has been handed out freely a lot lately.

So, those who spent at the original price were given back the amount they could have saved. These V-Bucks were technically already owned by players, and they’re being fairly repaid for the mistake on Epic’s part. However, it’s always nice to log in and see some currency sitting there waiting to be spent. With the Star Wars collaboration still going on for a little while, there are plenty of cheaper emotes in the Item Shop that those returned 300 V-Bucks can go towards.

Anyone concerned about purchasing any newer cosmetics can rest assured. Price adjustments don’t happen all that often, but Epic Games looks out for players when they do. You can spend your V-Bucks freely knowing that you won’t get ripped off by a future adjustment. You will always have the money you’re supposed to. That’s why players trust Epic Games and continue to support them financially.
