Fortnite Patched Game-Breaking Glitch That Almost Guaranteed Wins

Just a few days ago, Fortnite players discovered a massive glitch. With this glitch, you could almost guarantee a win for yourself. It was almost impossible to die if you utilized the glitch, and so many players took advantage of it. Well, that obviously got Epic Games’ attention, and they moved quickly to ensure their game was balanced once more.

Fortnite Patched Massive Auto-Win Glitch

Players discovered that completing a specific quest in a match would render players incapable of taking storm damage. Per ShiinaBR, that has since been fixed, but it was briefly one of the most game-breaking bugs any players had ever found.

All gamers had to do was complete the Big Dill’s Found Quest and they’d be immune to storm damage during Chapter 6 Season 2 matches. The following steps would complete this challenge:

  1. Find Big Dill in Crime City and talk to him.
  2. Open a box of drinks found nearby.
  3. Pick up records at the POI.
  4. Play a Jam Track next to Big Dill the NPC.

All of this could have been completed right near where Big Dill is found, so you’d have plenty of time to do all of this if the storm circle was kind. Even if it wasn’t, completing the quest made you immune to storm damage.

That didn’t inherently guarantee a win, though, as player damage or fall damage was not removed with this glitch. It did, however, give you a major advantage. You could just hide in the storm forever and not lose health. If you remained out of sight of any other players, you’d win because the storm would eventually damage and kill the opponent no matter how many heals they might have had.

Unfortunately for those who want to take advantage of this, it has officially been patched. The game is once again as fair as it can be for all players in the 100-player battle royale.
