Fortnite leak suggests rumored Kingdom Hearts collaboration
Fortnite could be adding Kingdom Hearts to their ever-growing list of brand partnerships pretty soon. The iconic video game saga is the latest leaked collaboration for the battle royale’s future. Epic Games has added quite a few iconic video games to its umbrella over the years, including God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider, Pac-Man, Among Us, and more. The long-running Disney-esque franchise could be next.

Fortnite Kingdom Hearts Collaboration Leaked
According to renowned leaker ShiinaBR, data miners have uncovered evidence of a Kingdom Hearts collaboration in Fortnite. Midori, known as a reliable SEGA leaker in the video game community, revealed to other leakers that they’d discovered the unreleased crossover. They confirmed that it was real and did exist in the game, but ShiinaBR stressed that it was purely a rumor at this stage. There’s not much alternative evidence as of now.
This would be a very unsurprising crossover, though. Fortnite is no stranger to bringing in massive video game franchises and giving characters skins and other cosmetics. The list of every Fortnite collab is getting longer every year.
It’s how Raiden, Solid Snake, Kratos, Chun Li, Psycho Bandit, T-60 Power Armor, Master Chief, Doom Slayer, and others have made their way into the metaverse. Adding any Kingdom Hearts characters would be very on-brand for Epic Games.
However, the fact that a lot of Kingdom Hearts characters are from Disney makes it a little harder as the copyrights wouldn’t be as easily obtained.
That does not apply to Sora, Roxas, and others from the game. Whatever happens, there is an easy character pool for Epic to draw from. Additionally, one of the most likely things about this crossover is the Keyblade. This would make such a perfect harvesting tool that it’s the one part of this collaboration that would be a surprising omission.
If the collaboration is real, then it’s likely that other characters and items would make their way over. As of now, this is a preliminary leak/rumor, so there’s no release date or anything. It could be a long time before this comes to fruition if it does. Keep an eye out for more updates.
