Fortnite Reload was introduced last season, and it now could be getting a Ranked Mode soon, as per some leaks.
Epic Games heard the calls for a permanent OG mode after the success of the OG season and the player fall-off in Chapter 5. They did not introduce a permanent OG mode with the old map and old weapons exclusively included, though. Instead, they made their version of Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence.
In it, players can respawn endlessly until all their team is dead or a certain time has passed. It does have remixed versions of OG locations and some old loot, but that’s it. Either way, it got pretty popular, and now it’s getting a ranked mode.

Both Fortnite: Battle Royale and Zero Build have been given ranked modes. Players who exclusively play one or the other now have the chance to rank up and potentially earn some money and prizes.
Reload is the third competitive permanent mode since Creative and Festival are not competitive. Finally, it is slated to receive a ranked mode for those who’ve adopted it as their main mode of play. This is according to leaker HYPEX.
Reload hasn’t been around for very long, but it’s already been given enough attention by players to warrant a ranked mode. Zero Build was around for much longer before it was given ranked, so while the new mode is maybe not what OG fans were hoping for, it is apparently quite popular. The leak did not mention when this mode would come, however. And of course, since it is a leak, it’s not confirmed.
Eventually, Epic will confirm the news themselves, and from there it will be official. For now, it’s speculative. It does make a lot of sense for Epic Games to introduce this, though. It is probably very easy to add and will only benefit them. For now, players will need to continue playing regular Reload or ranked BR or Zero Build if they choose to.
