Typically, Fortnite Season 4s are superhero-themed. The first one in Chapter 1 was, as it introduced Omega and Carbide to the lore. Then, Chapter 2 Season 4, the first collaborative season, was entirely Marvel-themed. Chapter 3’s Season 4 skipped this, as did Chapter 4. But Chapter 5 brought it back with another Marvel season, and it looks like Chapter 6 might follow suit. It’s early, but there are some reasons to expect superheroes to appear next season.

Fortnite Could Have Another Superhero Season

All signs are pointing to yet another superhero season for Fortnite, but this one could be an original one. There may not be exclusively Marvel or DC characters, at least not true, licensed versions, this time. Instead, based on some leaks and theories, it could be much more than that.

Per leaker HYPEX, we know (based on a leak, so it’s still not confirmed) that a Superman skin is coming as well as a Mythic. The Mythic means it’s part of the Battle Pass in all likelihood, so that would line up with the season’s theme.

Additionally, hero-themed boons have leaked for next season, which only furthers the case. Boons have been in the game for a while, and they usually match the season’s theme and storyline.

Also, HYPEX noted that there are more than 18 superhero skins in the surveys Epic Games has done, so they could be working on something big. Either way, superhero skins are presumably on the way at some point.

Also, a little fun Easter Egg might cement this. Per the leaker, the next season is slated to be updated on the exact same date as the original superhero season, Chapter 1 Season 4. Epic Games is undoubtedly aware of this and is probably planning something for it. There could be more original superheroes and another season themed that way up next.

For now, Chapter 6 Season 3 is underway. The Star Wars season just began on May 2, so we’re still a long way away from the next season. It will probably be a while until there’s some confirmation on these leaks and theories.
