Fortnite x Thunderbolts Crossover Coming Soon
There is a Fortnite Thunderbolts collaboration coming soon. At this point, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that there’s a collaboration planned for (insert MCU movie here). Whenever a new Marvel movie comes out, there’s a really good chance the battle royale will get some skins or more from it. That’s going to be the case with Thunderbolts, which comes out on May 2.

Fortnite Thunderbolts Collab Confirmed
While the information and a look at the upcoming Fortnite Thunderbolts collaboration did come from leakers, Epic Games has already confirmed this one themselves. It’s legit. There’s even going to be an event to mark the crossover.
White Widow, or Yelena Belova, the Black Widow’s sister, is coming to the game. So is Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier. They’re arguably the two most important figures in the movie, and they’re now getting the Fortnite treatment.
However, they’re going to be cel-shaded. Much like recently added Deadpool and Wolverine skins, these are going to look almost like they came straight out of a comic book. The collaborative skins are said to be dropping on April 30. There will also be two emotes, two weapon wraps, two pickaxes, and two back blings, one presumably for each character. There will also undoubtedly be a bundle for the skins.
However, players can get one of the skins for free. By entering the Thunderbolts Cup on April 25, you have a chance to unlock the White Widow skin before it arrives and for free. It’s a duos tournament, so the top-scoring duos in each region will unlock the outfit early.
For those who fall short, you can still get free rewards. If you get 40 points, you will both earn the White Widow Wrap. To get the Winter Soldier Wrap, you need only record eight points. You can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window to maximize points by earning eliminations and placing high. A Victory Royale will give you 65 points. Each elimination is worth two more points, so a 10-kill win would result in 85 points in one match.
