The next Fortnite update is set to be released on Thursday, Sept. 5. The Absolute Doom season is off to a hot start, but the early patch notes that leakers have released suggest that it could keep that momentum up. Epic Games is reportedly planning to make quite a few big additions to the game this week. The season is young, but they’re hard at work to ensure it’s one of the best yet. Here’s what is expected to arrive this Thursday in the v31.10 update.

The first major thing that leaker ShiinaBR says will arrive with the next Fortnite update is leaks surrounding Marvel Limited Time Modes. There hasn’t been much on this front since the Avengers Endgame event in Chapter 1 Season 8. That mode has been sorely missed. There’s no indication of whether or not that specific mode will come back, though it’s worth mentioning that it heavily utilized Captain America’s Shield which is now back in Chapter 5 Season 4.
Additionally, leakers are anticipating even more Marvel skins coming. Epic Games is set to add new characters to the files, thus giving the data mining community a chance to see what’s coming. Of course, the new update will bring new cosmetics themselves and not just leaks.
A new Mythic, Shuri’s Claws, is set to arrive as well. Presumably, this will join the loot pool alongside the shield and War Machine’s Arsenal rather than replace any of the current items. Doctor Doom’s quests and rewards are expected to be revealed in this update as well. The super styles for skins like War Machine, Mysterio, Gwenpool, and others should also be visible on the battle pass after the patch.
The leaks suggest that the LEGO Klombo update could be on the way. This was confirmed to be arriving at some point, and it might finally be here. Item Shop dates have long been rumored, and leakers once again expect Epic Games to introduce them now. Leakers expect even more collaborations, not just Marvel ones, to be added, too. The free “Sir Beurre” Back Bling is slated to arrive as well. Please keep in mind that these are leaks. Therefore, they can’t be confirmed until the actual patch notes arrive with the update on Thursday.
