A new emote for an XXXTentacion song showed up in the Fortnite game files. It’s the first time the game has crossed over with the late, controversial rapper. Even with a ton of music in the game now through Jam Tracks and Icon Series emotes, X has been pretty absent. That will change soon based on the leak, but this emote is not the only crossover that is reportedly planned for the rapper, though.

According to leaks, XXXTentacion is going to get much more than the leaked emote. Leaker ShiinaBR also noted that there are other cosmetics planned. Rapper Ski Mask the Slump God claims that the crossover will be akin to the Juice WRLD collaboration. Juice got multiple skins, was an NPC boss, and had a ton of cosmetics and songs. It looks like X could get the same soon.
Ski Mask said on January 17, “Yeah, I’ve seen the X emote with the ‘Look at Me’ song. Pretty crazy. I mean, they’ve got a whole thing planned. I don’t know when exactly but Fortnite and John Cunningham (X’s Producer) got some sh** cooking up with Cleo (X’s mother), I think.”
Before he passed, X was an avid gamer and a big Fortnite player, so it’s not all that surprising. The same was true of Juice WRLD.
Epic Games has not confirmed the collaboration or even the leaked emote, so this is all speculative. It’s also unclear how Ski Mask the Slump God would have the insider information, but he could be up to date on what’s going on. Until Epic confirms it, though, it’s all still leaks like the upcoming Fortnite x Kaiju No. 8 collab.
As such, we don’t know when any of this will arrive in the game. It is also unclear what besides the leaked emote and a possible Icon Series skin will be included. A back bling, glider, and a bevy of jam tracks are probable, though.
