The Fortnitemares Update for 2024 is set to drop tonight, and players will be able to enjoy a ton of new content starting tomorrow. Epic Games has big plans for the Halloween event, as they usually do. New skins, new items, and so much more is reportedly on the way. Before the update drops, here are the expected patch notes.

Expected Patch Notes for Fortnitemares 2024

The 2024 Fortnitemares Update, unsurprisingly, is going to drop all the new Halloween items. Skins like Leatherface, Mephisto, and more will land in the Item Shop. Conversely, Billy from Saw, and the other Halloween crossovers, including Michael Myers, are going to land on the island. Billy and Leatherface will sell items, but Mephisto will trade health for perks.

The map is expected to change, too. The event is reportedly going to introduce six new landmarks. A few of them will likely be the homes of the new NPCs that are arriving tonight. Grand Glacier, Brawler’s Battleground, and Restored Reels are going to be updated as well. Most locations will get some sort of Halloween theme added, too.

Disney Villains, Marshmello, Sally and Pumpkin King, Venom vs Spider-Man, Spider-Woman skins are supposed to be added to the game in this update as well. The villains may include Captain Hook, Cruella de Vil, and Maleficent. Finally, a Hexbringer Lexa remix bundle is expected to arrive. Additionally, there will be a brand new Mythic item: the Boom Billy. Billy the Puppet will sell this item.

In LEGO Fortnite, players can purchase and complete a mini event pass for Fortnitemares 2024. Horde Rush, a popular Halloween LTM, is also coming back. The current season’s Mythics, like War Machine’s Arsenal, will be available in the loot pool for it.

As for leaks, which these are from HYPEX, more leaks about Chapter 2 OG, which directly follows Fortnitemares, are likely to be revealed after the update.  Lastly, Fortnite Reload will have a loot pool change as they do every update. Keep in mind that these are leaks so they’re not 100% confirmed, but this and more is likely to drop.
