The Fortnitemares 2024 update has not yet gone live. Unfortunately, it was delayed until October 12. Players who were anxiously awaiting were first met with a delay of “a few hours” following the initial 4:00 am EST update schedule. Then, leakers confirmed that the update wouldn’t go live until tomorrow, so everyone must patiently wait even longer for the dawn of the iconic event.
However, despite there being no update, there are leaks from the new content drop. Here’s what they revealed.

According to leakers, the update is not going to come out today and will be released 22 hours after the initial launch time. Nevertheless, there are new leaks to get excited about. Players will have to wait to try out the new Chainsaw Mythic or Billy Boom, but there’s plenty to be excited about.
Leaker ShiinaBR has uncovered quite a few collaborative skins that are expected to arrive in Fortnitemares. First and perhaps most exciting among them is the presence of She-Venom. This skin is brand-new, and it signals the potential return of the Eddie Brock skin. That one has been absent for over 1,000 days.
Additionally, there is already a look at a new Edward Scissorhands skin. The iconic movie’s protagonist is set to enter the metaverse. Per the leaks, so is a trio of Disney villains: Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, and Captain Hook. Sally and Pumpkin Man are also part of Fortnitemares in 2024.
A brand-new Penny skin, this time designed like a Ghoul, will be available at some point as well. There are also a few leaks about other things than skins.
Per HYPEX, Mr. Incredible’s blue car from the original film, the one that he was far too big to truly sit in, is expected to be a car skin soon. Furthermore, the River Styx, which has been on the island since Chapter 5 Season 2, is expected to turn red for Mephisto when he lands on the island. The NPC will make deals with players in Fortnitemares 2024. Presumably, he will be located near the river.
