Fortnite finally added the much-awaited Slurp Rush map to its Reload gameplay mode as a part of the v34.30 update and to celebrate this launch, they’re giving away a few glorious cosmetic items via Twitch drops.

As you might have expected, all you have to do is watch your favorite streamer for a certain period of time to claim free rewards. However, besides that, there are a few other steps that you have to follow in order to meet the eligibility criteria.

With that said, below is a comprehensive Fortnite guide for you to help claim the Slurp Rush Twitch drops.

How To Earn Fortnite Slurp Rush Twitch Drops

The Twitch Drops event for Fortnite offers two exclusive cosmetic rewards that you can unlock just by spending some time watching live streams in the Fortnite category on Twitch during a limited timeframe. Here’s what you can earn:

Fortnite Elite’s Sigil Wrap: To obtain this cosmetic item, you need to watch a total of 30 minutes (cumulative) on any Fortnite Twitch channel.
Route Kit Back Bling: You can unlock this stylish accessory by watching for 1 hour (cumulative) during the event period.

Time is of the essence when it comes to Twitch Drops events in Fortnite. For this particular event, the drops are available if you watch during the following period:

Start: April 15 at 7 AM ET
End: April 21 at 12 AM ET

Make sure you’re watching within these dates so that your view time counts toward unlocking the rewards.

The process of claiming your rewards becomes simple once you meet the time requirements. You can access your Drops Inventory by visiting Twitch. The page displays all rewards that you received during the event. Next, click the drop icon that corresponds to the earned reward. Your Epic account will receive the reward after you claim it.

Make sure to check your Epic Games account connection with your Twitch account before you proceed with drop claims. The correct delivery of your Fortnite inventory items depends on this verification process.

The rewards will automatically appear in Fortnite if you’ve correctly followed the entire process. The delivery of rewards can take between one day and 14 days depending on the situation.

Epic Games has also specifically mentioned that these Drops are not exclusive as they may be purchasable in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.
