To get the Mythic Grappler, you’ll need to locate and defeat Ice Spice, the new boss introduced in Fortnite’s Ice Spice update. She can be found at the revamped Ice Isle, formerly known as The Shark POI. The location has been transformed from a prison into a mall which highlights Ice Spice’s signature balloon on top.

Ice Spice is a challenging boss with significant health and shields so come prepared with strong weapons and healing items. He will drop two key rewards once you defeat her:
- Custom Scar with a pink diamond wrap (similar in power to Skye’s Assault Rifle).
- Mythic Grappler with unlimited uses and icy feet effects.
The Ice Spice Mythic Grappler isn’t just a regular mobility item. Here’s what makes it unique:
- Unlimited Uses: This one never runs out of charges unlike regular grapplers.
- Icy Feet Effect: Using the Grappler applies an icy effect to your feet which allows you to slide across surfaces for faster travel and unique tactical plays.
How to use Ice Spice mythic grappler?
- The icy feet effect can give you a speed advantage but it also makes controlling your movements tricky. Practice navigating while sliding to avoid mishaps during combat.
- Pair the Grappler with other movement items like Shockwave Grenades to chain quick repositioning strategies.
- Use the Grappler to quickly gain high ground which is perfect for building fights or escaping intense firefights.
Once you’ve defeated Ice Spice, she will stop being hostile and can even become your ally. She’ll also toss you Chili Chug Splashes to heal and boost your speed if you’re low on health.
However, it’s worth mentioning that the Ice Spice Mythic Grappler is part of the current season’s loot pool so grab it while it lasts.
