Stardew Valley Creator Angling for Fortnite Collaboration
Fortnite has collaborated with a lot of different video games, and they may be able to add indie hit Stardew Valley to their roster soon. The creator of the farming simulation is reportedly interested in collaborating with the game.

What is Stardew Valley?
Stardew Valley has nothing to do with Fortnite, nor does it have anything to do with the core gameplay. These two games are pretty different from one another. That doesn’t really matter when it comes to crossovers, as Fortnite has worked with tons of games (like Metal Gear Solid), shows, movies, and brands that have no connection whatsoever. It wouldn’t be a stretch to see Stardew Valley in Fortnite since games like God of War, Among Us, Lethal Company, and Tomb Raider already are.
With that said, this collaboration rumor is coming directly from the creator of the indie farming simulator. ConcernedApe, a.k.a Eric Barone, has expressed his desire to collaborate with Epic Games and specifically to get Stardew into the battle royale game. According to leaker ShiinaBR, Barone has been published as saying he wants Pam in Fortnite. The character is an NPC from the farm simulation and apparently could be a new Fortnite skin eventually.
It remains to be seen how this would actually work. Stardew Valley is a sort of 8-bit game that functions from a top-down perspective. It’s not supposed to be compared to graphical masterpieces of today, which is part of the charm. The characters, as such, don’t have much detail and they’re small. It doesn’t seem as if they can easily be placed into skins for Fortnite right now. That hasn’t stopped Epic in the past.
They have stretched or altered characters like Morty Smith and Peter Griffin, both of whom didn’t fit the model. Pam or any other NPC wouldn’t, either, but that doesn’t preclude it from happening. Furthermore, the collaboration wouldn’t have to be just skins. It could be backblings, emotes, songs, or anything else. The possibilities are endless, and the game’s creator wants to get in on them.
